On strong demand of primary teachers of the state of Haryana, a seperate organization namely “Rajkiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh, Haryana” came in to force in the decade of 1970’s.

Primary teachers are playing key role in the education system in Haryana since the creation of the state. The demands and problems faced by the primary teachers were not addressed by the then associations working in the state of Haryana. These association were only using manpower and money of primary teachers rather the solving issues of them. In such a position a need of primary teachers organization was emerged.

On strong demand of primary teachers of the state of Haryana, a seperate organization namely “Rajkiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh, Haryana” came in to force in the decade of 1970’s. This organization started working for the welfare of primary teachers and in a very sort spam it became popular among primary teachers community of the state.

Rajkiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh, Haryana was registered on Sep 3, 1997 vide Regn. No. 949 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, and now as per amended socity act 2012, it has been registered with the new Registration No. 421.

Now the Rajkiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh, Haryana is the only powerful organization raising the voice and issues related to Junior Basic Teachers (JBTs/PRTs) and Head Teachers (HTs) working in Haryana Govt. Schools. More than 35,000 JBTs and Head Teachers are the member of organization.

The organization is associated with “All India Primary Teacher’s Federation (AIPTF) ” having 25 lakh members from all the states of India. The organization is also associated with “Education International” organisation at international level having membership of 30 million primary teachers of 170 countries.
